Netherlands

This weekend was our penultimate weekend of our pre-ordination training. We went to Netherlands to a seminary training mature men for the Catholic Priesthood.
I am training with some really lovely people and I am so grateful for that. It is not just that we get on but that there is a lot of support and love. We laugh and cry together and it does not feel odd. The seminary (Bovendonk) has found that catching people later in life and helping them to work out their 'calling' gives very rounded and loving people. They were certainly very welcoming to us.We differ on a few points theologically but we could each see God working in the other.
So what is the point of this post, to tell you I have been abroad? To thank my mates ( Rob, Lynette and Jen we missed you!)? No, if you are looking for God start by being with others that are searching. Be honest with them, listen and God will speak to you.
the picture is of Ang and me in the sunshine between lectures at Bovendonk.
