thank you

when we train for ministry we are told to get someone to 'direct' us in spirituality. It is something all of us could benefit from.I come from a really non-Anglican roots so it was suggested that I ask a high Anglican. He was so patient. so tolerant of my introspection and wallowing. He would ask an occasional question, give me a book and pray with me.
He had given his life to God and was so serene. About 18 months ago he was diagnosed with cancer. Today he told me he is the last phase and wanted to see me one last time. His faith is so real and he awaits his death. I do not want him to die, I do not want him to suffer, he is prepared for both.
if he can leave me one thing can it be his depth of assurance of the love of God.
He has directed me up to my ordination, he thinks he wont be present for the ordination due to his illness.
thank you K, you have challenged me, loved me, prayed for me and have shown by your life how to travel with God.
love and prayers
Jeremy
