What are you doing this weekend? This is the first weekend when the spurs result will not affect my weekend. I know there is a FA Cup final but it is not between teams I care about so I will probably give it a miss.
I guess most people do not have something that will affect them like that. Is it spiritual?
I certainly go forward with Spurs in faith, a belief that tomorrow will be better based upon nothing more than my hopes.
My belief in God seems quite rational by comparison. My God has been there for me and my God is faithful. In a rational (sic) world perhaps we need to acknowledge where we are spiritual. Also perhaps faith by comparison to football teams, astrology or whatever else we hang on to is not that odd.
