vote

tomorrow is the London election, I love this city and want us to be 'the world city'. My definition of a world city is one where everyone is welcome, where we set the standard for environmental issues and have a city that is designed for people to live in and has a transport system to match.
because of over 20 years in politics i know many of the candidates for all the posts tomorrow. i know they are people trying to serve and want to do the right thing. i also know they like all of us fail.
If you have a vote tomorrow please use it. Please follow the advice of 'hope not hate' campaign and do nto vote for anyone who asks you to vote for them on the basis that they hate someone else.
in greenwich I know len Duvall well and know he has given many many years to political service. He was a great leader of Greenwich Council and he has continued to serve with conviction ever since.
other than that as a Labour party member I wouldrecommend voting Labour. I genuinely think Ken for all his obvious faults has done a good job and it would be terrible to throw that away.
anyway enough preaching.. please vote.
