this is my first blog. I have watched my friends embrace cyber space and felt it was time that I took the plunge.
I am training as a church of england vicar at seite (www.seite.co.uk). on the 29th of june at 11am i will be ordained at Southwark Cathedral. I will be a curate in East Greenwich, basically serving the area of Westcombe park through to the dome, with the naval college on one side and the blackwell tunnel approach on the other.
I want to talk about spirituality, about how we find meaning? about events and about the little things of life that make us smile or wind us up.

- I feel I am a spiritual tourist trying to become a piligrim. Outside of that I work part time in central london; I have a family with two grown up children, and am a mad spurs fan.On 29th June I was ordained a deacon in the Church of England to serve my 'title' in the East Greenwich Team Ministry.This takes in the three parishes of St Georges, Christ Church and Holy Trinity. Or for non anglicans, Westcombe Park, East Greenwich and the Pennisula including the O2 arena.

Having known Jeremy for more years than we both probably want to own up to I feel duty bound to write that I always knew he would end up ordained. He knows this, I told him about 4 years ago that I was disappointed that he had not gone down the road we had discussed many many times as teenagers.................I feel so priviledged to with Gods blessing be at the ordination in a few weeks time.
