the day after

Well today I went back to work. Back to the day job, normal clothes and normal things of a normal day. I took the lovely cake baked for us at Greenwich in to work as over half of it was left from last night. The poor starving folk of Leicester square devoured the cake with relish.
All of life is like this, we have normal times that seem dull comparative to a full day like yesterday. But we need to be part of a normal world. Our God inhabits this world as well as the place of great joy or sadness.
I hope I can serve God as eagerly at my day job as much as in my job as a curate. We may not be called to wear a dress ( or cassock) but we are all going to answer to God for how we act not just in the high and low times but also in the normal times.
thank you again to all for your love and support, especially my family for travelling with me without complaining
